NEET UG 2026 exam will have full videography inside exam centres. NTA is doing this to keep exam fair and stop cheating cases. Many students dont know what happens in videography process, so this guide explain in simple words.
What is NEET Exam Videography?
Videography means video recording of students during exam time. Cameras and video persons record candidates while they sit in exam hall. This help NTA check identity and avoid impersonation or unfair activity.
Why NTA Doing Videography

- To check if rules followed proper or not
If any problem or complaint happen later, NTA can check recording and see what really happened.
Main Videography Rules for Students
During Recording Time
- Stay on your own seat only
- Do not change place
- Sit straight as much possible
- When camera comes near, look normal and face visible
- Cooperate with videographer
You dont need to panic. Just behave normal like giving exam.
Things You Should Not Do
- Dont hide your face
- Dont block camera using paper or hand
- Dont give signals or strange gestures
- Dont keep head down for too long when recording happening
- Dont try avoid camera again and again
Exam Day Identity Rules
You must bring original ID proof. Xerox copy is not allowed.
Accepted ID:
- Aadhaar Card
- PAN Card
- Driving License
- Passport
- Voter ID
Name on ID and admit card should match same, otherwise entry can be stopped.
Attendance and Thumb Impression
- You will sign attendance sheet two times
- Thumb impression also taken
- You must sit till exam fully finish

- Smart watch
- Bluetooth devices
- Calculator
- Notes or books
- Electronic gadgets
Better bring only admit card, ID, and required things.
What Happens With Video Recording Later
NTA stores recordings safe for some time. Only officials can see it. It is not public. They check only if some issue or cheating doubt comes.
After official time period, recordings get deleted or archived as per rule.
