First 6 months, I was not serious. After that, I became focused. That changed everything.

I did not follow many books.
For Physics and Chemistry:

- Online classes from Physics Wallah (Lakshya batch)
- TPPs and MCQs given in class
For Biology:
- School notes
- Practice questions and MCQs
I did not collect too many books. I revised limited material again and again.
My Study Strategy for JKBOSE Class 12th Science
1. First Clear Concepts
In the beginning, I did not try to memorize.
I:
- Attended classes seriously
- Wrote my own handwritten notes
- Cleared doubts quickly
Handwritten notes helped me a lot. When I saw my notes, I remembered what the teacher explained.
2. Make Your Own Notes
I did not make short notes separately.
I made proper notes during classes.
Why?
Because:
- It is easy to revise your own handwriting
- You remember the explanation faster
- Revision becomes simple
Even if I remembered 20%, I revised again and made it 100%.
3. Practice Writing in English
This is very important.
Many students understand concepts. But they lose marks in writing.
Do not think in Kashmiri or Hindi and then translate in exam. It wastes time.
Practice writing answers in English before exams.
4. Solve Last 5 Years Papers
I solved previous year papers of last 5 years.
Why only 5?
- Syllabus changed
- Some chapters were deleted
- Paper pattern changed
Many questions repeat.
If you solve last 5 years properly, you can easily pass. If you revise them well, you can score high.
5. Final 2 Months Strategy
Two months before exam, I changed my focus.
Step 1: I revised all notes and cleared every concept.
Step 2: I solved previous year papers again.
Step 3: I memorized structure of important answers.
I did not memorize full long answers. I memorized:
- First 1–2 lines
- Important keywords
- Answer structure
Then I wrote answers in my own words.
This saved time in exam.
Daily Study Hours
If you want 470+, you must study seriously.
I studied 8–10 hours in final months.
If you cannot study that much, at least study 3–4 hours daily from the beginning.
If you ignore study whole year, then before exam you will feel pressure.
And pressure causes mistakes.
